Babies must be at least six (6) months old and no more than eleven (11) months old as of Saturday, May 24.

The first fifteen (15) babies signed up will compete. 

​

Check-in is required by 11:30 AM. Race-time is set for 12:00 PM. 

 

Only two people can be present with each baby: one Coach at the start line and one Coach at the finish line. One of the individuals must be a parent or legal guardian.

​

​If the baby stands up and/or walks he/she will be disqualified.

​

Parents may encourage their baby by waving toys, keys, etc., but nothing may be thrown on the mat or from one end to the other. No food or drink allowed.

 

​Racecourse will be a distance of approximately 30 feet. 

​

There is a five-minute time limit on the race. If no child has crossed the finish line in the time limit, the child closest to the finish line will be deemed the winner.

​

Parents may not reach across the finish line to get their baby until the race is over.  If a Coach crosses the finish line, his or her child will be disqualified.

 

The first baby to completely cross the finish line will WIN the race. There will be only ONE winner.

​

Decision of the judges is final in all cases. No instant replays.

 

If at any point race participants become uncomfortable with the situation (crying, refusing to move, etc.), parents/guardians may remove their baby from the race.

​

​Photos from the event may be used to advertise future events without compensation to participant. Parents will be expected to sign a photo release form at check-in.

​

Parents will be expected to sign a Waiver of Liability.
